Looking for a song... pleeeease help if you think you know something different.?

i dont know the lyrics really i just know that it was kinda like a mix between pop and rock and i am pretty sure it is an older song. all i know is that it says "and i say hey hey hey hey hey hey hey" those exact num of times. Its not neil young or natasha or micheal franti or chelley. those i have already tried. if you know any song that is like that please help its stuck in my head. and also hey may have been "aye" or something okay so anything and its like a song you want to sort of bang your head to and i am definitely not a rock banger head girl but i really want to know this song. thanks
