Help me refine an idea for a one act play?

Hello. At school I am forced to write a one act play. My idea is ok, but needs to be worked on. I wanted a simple scene, so chose a doctors office. I am divorced. From our marriage me and my wife financed a new car, with me as the primary signer and her as co-signer. Through our divorce she was awarded that car and was to hold all responsibilities for it. It is stated clearly as that in our legal court ordered divorce papers. Now, several months have went by and apparently she has not made any payments on it. Since it is also in my name the finance company has contacted me looking for payment. That is the story, now my question is to you....what am I suppose to do? The court said she is no longer my wife and that is no longer my car nor my responsibility. I have explained that to the finance company and they still are threatening me with jail time...why is this?

Lets say that leg pain is recessive. My mom told me that she had excruciating leg pain while growing up and we found that trait in my brother. If my mom had it then she would be..... XhXh. My dad, not having it, would be XHY. That would have me at XHXh and my brother at Xhy, giving him the leg pain. Would that mean that all girls in my parent's offspring not have it and all boys have it? and then if I have XHXh, wouldn't that mean that I could p along the trait, if that's possible? Last week I was at church and I saw a lot of people that I graduated from high school with in 1997. Many of the alumni are in the hometown for the 10 year reunion, which I am not attending because I feel they are a bunch of BS. Anyway what I noticed was a little shocking. Out of all the people I recognized, 9 out of 10 of them were married and had a baby or a pregnant wife. I thought my life was moving along slowly, career-wise and education-wise along with the fact that I still live at home and never had a girlfriend, heck, I haven't even had my first kiss yet. I never felt more lucky than I did today. I have no responsibilities except myself and the world is my oyster, unlike these young married couples. Don't get me wrong, marriage is a good thing and so is having kids. I am just glad I didn't do this way too early like these people did. Being single has allowed me to work full time and work on my masters degree. Anyone else have similar epiphanies?

Salary desired on job application: I put going rate!?

Are great legs only hereditary or can you actually work to get them?

I'm short (5'2") and 125 lbs. My legs aren't proportionate. My calves are super small (boots are very loose around them to where I can't wear them at all) and my thighs are fat (All, and I mean all, jeans look like flares when they tightly hug my thighs) so I give off the 'chunky' look. I can't wear shorts or skirts above my knees. I'm obviously not fat but my legs aren't good looking. A lot of white people have really nice legs REGARDLESS of their weight (unless they are ridiculously obese). Most of the time, their fat is stored in there stomachs but their legs are untouched. Not fair. Now I could lose 10 to 20 pounds to where I'm skinny and my thigh fat goes away but I'm not sure if I'd have nice legs like a lot of white women. They may just become a shrunken down version of the same ugliness. I don't want to work them out so much where they are muscular. I don't want muscular legs. Shapely. Not muscular. Is Charred Metal Pot Poisonous ?

My metal pot was charred when I overcooked some stew. The walls and bottom of the metal pot has black and burnt food that sticks to it. I used a steel wool to scrap all off. Did anybody think that the opening of Quantum of Solace was AWESOME (not the pre-credits)?

I thought the opening to Quantum of Solace was awesome. I was a little shocked by the fact that they didn't have the whole "gun barrel" opening like most other bond movies but this was the best opening EVER. The pre-credits sucked. The song sucked and there was nothing happening in the video except him occasionally pulling out a gun. Other then that, it shows sand. He only fired the fragin' thing once or twice. I thought the ending also wasn't that good but it had a good, symbolic point. I am not a huge fan of overclocking myself but everybody can do what they want with their PCs. It sounds like you have it the wall at 3.2 GHZ & thats a great speed for that CPU that runs stock at 2.4GHZ. Every CPU is differant some will go higher than others it looks like you got a good one. You need to watch the temp when under heavy load or long gaming sessions. The next step would be uping the voltage & getting a water cooler. That or just buy a faster CPU to start with & see how it OCs on air. Look at the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 Yorkfield 3.0GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor. Are you having trouble playing a certain game or are you just OCing to see how high it will go. A quad core CPU running at 3.2GHZ should run any game or program with no problems.

whoever said that you regain brain cells every second was wrong. Adult brain cells do NOT regenerate for the most part. It has been shown that some adult brain cells do divide under certain cirstances but mostly they simply develop by creating new synapses etc. But yes every time you bump your head your killing a few brain cells. A question about Glasgow?

I'm 18 and have lived in Glasgow my whole life. No matter where in the world you are you will always come across dodgy folk but in all honesty I always feel safe in Glasgow. Of course there are the more dangerous areas but as long as you keep out them you will be absolutely fine. More often than not, neds will annoy you (playing loud music on the bus, maybe making a joke at your expense when you p them, skipping you in the cinema queue) but very infrequently will you encounter someone who is going to cause serious harm. Just keep your head down and keep out of their way. A few times I've come across weird, old drunk people but to be completely honest they have never bothered me, they are just up for a chat and a laugh. The English accent will not be a problem, the whole Scotland v England "rivalry" isn't very common. Caley is a great uni and I think you will be happy there. If you are not keen on living in the city centre you could live in the suburbs (for example Bishopbriggs - 8 minute train ride from city).

This means that when human cells split to make new cells they have to duplicate their chromosomes so the 2 daughter cells will have the same amount of chromosomes as the parent. So a normal human cell has 46 chromosomes when its about to split it duplicates it to 92 then when split, the 2 cells will bothe have 46 again. Meiosis is when the splitting cell does not duplicate its Chromosomes and just splits, this happens in cells so a normal cell has 46 chromosomes, when split into 2 sperm cells, each sperm cell only has 23 chromosomes!

It sounds perfectly normal to me. she obviously has a good vocabulary but it's not exceptional. My two sons started speaking really early. The eldest son pronounced his first word at eight months and was a very advanced talker at the age of two and remains to this day exceptionally gifted for languages and literature. He is really bad at maths however. Every child is advanced in one way or another in certain respects, and at different periods during their growth. It's a very individual thing and it's wonderful to watch their development. Your little girl probably enjoys words and language and she should be encouraged in that direction.

I've had a cough for 4 weeks now. I went to the doctor's like a week and a half ago. I got a chest x-ray and he said there was a little bit of stuff in my lungs, it wasn't pneumonia, and he was going to treat it like bronchitis. I feel fine and I don't have a fever, just a cough that is sometimes dry and sometimes isn't. When I do cough something up, its like kind of clear/white. Earlier today when I started coughing, it felt like something around where my throat or chest was started closing or something, and I could barely breathe. It sounded really weird when I was trying to breathe. I don't know what wheezing sounds like, but it might have been like that. It went away after about a minute, and I kept coughing a lot after that, it was a more productive cough. It scared me because its the first time this happened. My mom said it might have been a bronchial spasm, so I was wondering what that is. Also, I don't smoke, I'm not around smokers, and I don't have asthma.

Sure, the popularized definition of a “drug” is anything that alters your normal body functions when ingested, but can it really be considered a “drug” when it comes straight out of the ground? I also hear that more young adults than ever are seeking treatment in marijuana-rehab. I don’t think it’s because they are really addicted to marijuana. I think its goods. It shows children there are other cultures out there and makes them more accepting to them. The children might also pick up simple words from the other language. The children might want to learn another language so they have more incommon with the teacher or just impress others. And true this country was founded mostly by the English but not everyone is an english decent. Many immigrants (non english speaking ones) came to this country and made it their own. Improving American lives with their inventions and food. Why shouldn't we allow others to improve the country as well?

Which is more economical - using out central heat that uses propane or using several electric portable heaters?

The home that my husband and I moved into two years ago that runs off of propane. Our propane tank is 250 gallons and it cost us $525 to have it filled up about a month ago. Having spent over $1600 on propane over the course of four months during our first winter here, we decided it would save us money to invest in electric, portable heaters. We have a larger home (2200 sq. foot), our living room is about 500 sq. feet with 18 ft. ceilings so it has been difficult finding anything portable that can efficiently heat that space but have been using a small, portable, electric fireplace, along with a radiator type heater in the master bathroom, which also is the heat source for the master bedroom, a larger, ceramic heater with a thermostat in the hallway where our children's rooms are located and one small, tabletop, ceramic heater in my oldest son's room. These heaters are only on when we're home and when we're awake. They are shut off at night and when we're not home. We purchased some electric blankets for our children's beds that have a 10 hr. auto shutoff feature but I'm overly paranoid about fires so I always shut them off before I go to bed. Anyway, long story short, latest propane bill was $525.00 to fill up the tank. It would probably last about two months if we used our central heat as our sole heat source. Our most recent electric bill was $250.00, which is the highest it has been since July. So obviously, either way we go, it's not going to be cheap. I'm just wondering if there's something out there that's great at heating larger areas, that's safe to have around children, low cost and efficient, that doesn't require renovating your home to install it. Any suggestions? At this point, I'd rather just strictly use the central heat. It might cost us $500+ every couple of months but at least we'd be warm and I'd have my piece of mind at night. My husband on the other hand prefers to leave the heat off altogether because he hates that propane bill.
