Overclock my Q6600 to 3.8 ghz?

I am not a huge fan of overclocking myself but everybody can do what they want with their PCs. It sounds like you have it the wall at 3.2 GHZ & thats a great speed for that CPU that runs stock at 2.4GHZ. Every CPU is differant some will go higher than others it looks like you got a good one. You need to watch the temp when under heavy load or long gaming sessions. The next step would be uping the voltage & getting a water cooler. That or just buy a faster CPU to start with & see how it OCs on air. Look at the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 Yorkfield 3.0GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor. Are you having trouble playing a certain game or are you just OCing to see how high it will go. A quad core CPU running at 3.2GHZ should run any game or program with no problems.
