A substitute for friends?

You already sound pretty cool to me, a lot of kids would be losing their minds over this ridiculous stuff. High School is a joke. After High School is where life begins, believe me "Jocks" get fat, plain girls become beautiful, and "nerds" grow into men making 6 figure incomes. Just relax with your real friends and don't take any of it too seriously.
