When will they stop making remakes of GOOD MOVIES?

i don't know why they just don't leave well enough alone with some of these movies--they are coming out with a lot of remakes lately. but like someone mentioned before, as long as someone is willing to come up with the money, and they think it will turn a profit, hollywood will do it. they are also remaking poltergeist, pet sematary, a nightmare on elm street, and the evil dead, among others. not much originality in hollywood these days.
