Why haven't I found "my guy?"?

honey, first of all, calm down. youre only 15. you will have a million and one chances from now to have a boyfriend who will treat you right. second of all, you remind me of my friend emily. in high school, she never even had a boyfriend, and she was always asking "whats wrong with me"- but guess what: there was NOTHING wrong with her! shes absolutely gorgeous, sweet, funny, and just an all around great person to hang out with. personally i think it was because none of the boys had the to ask her out, but now were in college and she has this amazing boyfriend who loves her. while we all had bfs, she was left out, but really i was always jealous of her. while i was out making mistakes, she was smart and never really looked for attention, you know? and now shes found it. it takes time. tons of teens have bfs/gfs, but it doesnt mean theyre good relationships. as a teen everyone is trying to find themselves, and usually relationships end badly. if i were to change anything about my high school time now, it would be waiting to be in a more mature relationship with someone who really is into me. dont be in any rush to find love, because it will come to you. stay true to yourself and remember youre young and have time to make mistakes and learn from them. right now cherish the childhood you have left because soon its going to be gone- and you'll be left wishing you held onto that instead of wasting your days thinking "why cant i get a date" good luck and dont run into adulthood too early ;)
